University of Iowa PITCH 2020 Press Release
We are excited to announce the winner of the 2020 CAMPUSPEAK PITCH competition for students.
PITCH is a “Shark Tank” style competition for students to win up to $15,000 of CAMPUSPEAK educational resources in the form of speakers, interactive workshops, customized programs, consulting services, assessment support, online education, and educational promotion campaign to address a specific issue in their campus community. CAMPUSPEAK would like to thank all of the schools who participated and encourage them to continue to pursue their innovative and creative ideas for creating long-term change.
Congratulations to the University of Iowa for being selected as the 2020 PITCH Winner! The team made up of Madeleine Ackerburg, President (Chi Omega), Sheyanne Koethe, Vice President of Leadership & Education (Zeta Tau Alpha), Chloe Olszewski, Vice President of Standards & Accountability (Alpha Chi Omega) and Audrey Patterson, Vice President of Academic Achievement (Delta Delta Delta) pitched their plan to empower members of their sorority and fraternity community to support fellow members through the challenges surrounding mental health. The plan includes utilizing the online educational course Name Your Story and an educational speaker in the training of student leaders and general community members.

Pitches were at the AFLV-Central 2020 conference and implementation will begin in Fall 2020. Winners of PITCH BY CAMPUSPEAK receive up to $15,000.00 in CAMPUSPEAK programs and services.
