” I thought David was pretty effective. I think it was either 2 or 3 years ago he spoke at Stevens, and it was basically the same speech with all the same jokes which made it repetitive for people in my class. Id like for him to go more into why hazing doesn’t work and not just using the fearmongering examples of hazing deaths. The kind of hazing that I have heard stories of at Stevens cannot even compare to the situations that David spoke about that caused the deaths which made the message feel distant. He should have gone deeper into how hazing develops toxic culture which is much more relevant to Stevens.”
